This Privacy Policy explains how Five & a Cat Uploader (the "Tool") and this website handle information. The Tool is a private, internal tool used only by the owner of the Five & a Cat YouTube channel (the "Owner") to upload the channel's own original videos.
1. Use of YouTube API Services
The Tool uses YouTube API Services. By using the Tool, the Owner agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Information handled through YouTube API Services is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
2. Information the Tool accesses
- When the Owner authorizes the Tool with their Google Account (OAuth 2.0), the Tool receives an access token and a refresh token limited to the scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload. - The Tool uses this authorization only to upload videos to the Owner's own Five & a Cat channel and to set their title, description, tags, privacy status and scheduled publish time.
- The Tool does not read, collect or store any information about viewers, subscribers, commenters or any other YouTube user, and it does not access any channel other than the Owner's.
3. How information is stored and shared
- The OAuth tokens are stored only on the Owner's own computer. They are never sent to any server other than Google's, and they are never shared, sold or transferred to anyone.
- The Tool keeps a local log of the videos it uploaded (file name, video ID, title and publish time) on the Owner's computer, for the Owner's own records.
- No personal information is disclosed to third parties.
4. Revoking access and deleting data
The Owner can revoke the Tool's access at any time from the Google Account security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. When access is revoked, or when the Tool is no longer used, the stored tokens are deleted from the Owner's computer.
5. This website
This website is static. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and it does not collect information from visitors.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
